nobody 2,536 Posted October 28, 2024 I don't know how many people watched the game, but Romo made a point with 8 seconds left that the Commanders should throw a quick 10-12 yard out to get them in better hail mary range. Sad Romo was excellent in those situations like that where they had to complete an intermediate pass with no timeouts to set up a hail mary of FG. He had several plays like that in his career. If the Commanders were the more deserving team, they probably would have converted a few TD's earlier in the game instead of settling for 5 FG attempts. The Bears did look like crap and like the much worse team for most of the game but they had some nice drives late. Both teams looked more like they were trying not to lose than trying to win.
