The only thing dangerous is the houses handing out Dot's.  Worst Candy.  I would always throw them back at that person's house.

We have had only 3 sets of trick or treaters thus far.  Parents making puzzies out of their kids with stupid trunk or treat events and such versus putting them out on the streets to get that candy.

Kids take candy from strangers these days? I thought they only do friends and neighbors now because of all the crap that happened in the longer past. I almost never see kids going house to house to house outside of organized trick or treating.

Trunk or treats, same block only trick or treating, trick or treat parties, etc....Who even stocks up on candy for unknown strangers anymore?

Really? We go. I haven't heard of anything happening specifically on Halloween. Our neighborhood has a lot of active kids.

Maybe it's a small town thing but traditional trick or treating to stranger's homes still happens here.
