Ryan Girdusky, a conservative political commentator and writer was banned by CNN after he told Muslim journalist Mehdi Hasan “I hope your beeper doesn’t go off” on live TV for saying he supports Palestinians.

CNN issued this statement"

“There is zero room for racism or bigotry at CNN […] Ryan Girdusky will not be welcomed back at our network.”

I watched that episode, I think CNN is so poosified that this is exactly what I would expect from them.  It was a good joke, and a funny one, of course Hasan is among THE WORST people that exist today

Man those CNN graphics in that video look really different....

Hasan has said a lot of terrible things as well. I had no idea who the guy was until I looked up some things about him after this.

The difference is obvious though in that his comments- while terrible- were said at various speeches outside of the scope of CNN programming. If he had said that on CNN they would have every right to ban him from the network much like they did with Girdusky. FOX or MSNBC or NewsNation or any other station would be within their right to ban someone for saying something they think is below the belt in these discussions.

Of course- we could just get rid of all panel shows like this and just go back to straight news all day long....but that genie is out of the bottle at this point.

Well, what you are really seeing is their intense bias.  They dislike the person because the person has a dissenting opinion, this then colors everything that person says.... to they project intent into the words....and then, they cancel....well, excommunicate, to put it into proper cult terminology
