You are an unserious poster

I've read some of the things you have posted. You may consider yourself a "serious" poster, but you are ALWAYS wrong with your opinions.

You should stop thinking about "serious" and start focusing on being 'sensible'. So far, you have not shown that trait.

Congress has been working on banning “forever chemicals” for years. They keep getting stalled.

States have been doing this themselves: California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maine, Maryland, New Hampshire, New Jersey, New York, Vermont, and Washington. I see a pattern there. Anyone else?

NY Times is just garbage.

"As you see, the ingredient list for the US and Canadian versions of Fruit Loops are completely identical, except the US product contains formaldehyde, cyanide, and nearly undetectable levels of saxitoxin"

From that article:

In recent years, absent regulation by the F.D.A., some states are imposing their own rules. Last year, Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a bill that banned several food additives, including Red Dye No. 3, which the F.D.A. had outlawed in cosmetics decades earlier over cancer concerns. (The F.D.A. said it was reviewing the dye, with a determination expected soon.)

Similar bills are pending in New York and Illinois. Another New York proposal would require companies to disclose the ingredients they designated as generally safe.

“There is a valid sort of outrage at the system,” said Thomas Gremillion, director of food policy for the Consumer Federation of America, a trade group. “Because it’s not like the F.D.A. has been heroically standing up to the food industry under Democratic or Republican administrations.”

New York, Cali, and Illinois 🤔

RFK is a weirdo but if he gets more regulations established on safer foods, have at it brainworm!

You're lost. I was ridiculing NYT fact checking. "He is wrong because it is exactly as he says". That’s how far you retards have gone off the deep end.

That was an oddly worded section. I agree.

Overall, the article talks about how historically this has been an issue that was left leaning in regards to Congress. Is that incorrect? Now that Republicans are joining in this issue we should see some progress in Congress.

Why have all these left leaning states went on their own to ban chemicals?

Now that Republicans are on board we should really start seeing some new laws and regulations clamping down on corporations come through Congress, right?

Welcome to the new Democratic party.  Ever since Trump started, the Democrats have become full on deep state corporate monopoly whores.  It used to be the GOP and Democrat establishment.   Now it has flipped.

Riiight 😂

In this case I hope so. However, tub of shet Trump has shown zero interest in this, dude certainly eats all this crap, until he needed to make a deal with RFK. Republicans in general have shown almost zero interest in this.

Babylonbee spitting facts.  It is funny when you find more truth on a parody website than a 'news' website.

Hey Raiders, while I don’t necessarily disagree with your much of what you posted in here, that’s going to require a bunch of regulations. You know, the things that the party you voted for wants less of.

So, good luck with that.

Dude is a loon when it comes to vaccines and such. But I’m all for adopting more European rules on banning harmful chemicals and unhealthy ingredients in our food. It’s sort of ironic since, you know, it’s the socialists that did that, but hell, RFK Jr could maybe actually get it done since it’s coming from the right.

I mean, I doubt he will, since big business definitely doesn’t want it. Most likely it’s all a con like most things Trump is associated with. But I hope not

It's also going to cost a lot of money- at the very least initially in reconfiguring machinery and processes. I don't know for certain- but I would imagine they have separate machinery for producing items for other countries.
