Better off now than trying to get by with PRP injections than finding out in June it didn’t work .

Cags might be a guy to keep your eye on for fantasy purposes THIS season...

https://x.com/Fantavious9/status/1898929858291401019

It's also sounding like he's been working in the OF so he could end up with multi-position eligibility, as the Royals already have a logjam at 1B and DH with Pasquantino and Perez as Fermin will get a bunch of starts at catcher.  AND, he's only competing with Hunter Renfroe, M.J. Melendez, Kyle Isbel who no one will miss in the lineup.  Something like this don't look terribly bad...

  1. India
  2. Witt, Jr.
  3. Pasquantino
  4. Perez
  5. Melendez
  6. Fermin
  7. Caglianone
  8. Massey
  9. Isbel

revamped bullpen, should be a strong rotation and we're ready to win the central

I hate spring training.   We Tigers fans get our hopes up.  Torkelson looks good, even Baez looks good.  I do not want to get my hopes up over these guys(especially Baez) when the real pitching starts.

So how many people knew the Cubs and the Dodgers just played two games that count in the standings in Japan? Good job MLB. Dodgers won both. Happy opening day.

Forever opening day was in Cincinnati.  But Manfred and the owners figured they could each make some pocket change and did away with it.

I don’t know if Manfred can take the blame on this…. He became commissioner during the 2015 season and ESPN has had a Sunday night game for quite a while…. It might be Selig’s fault, though both were/are terrible commissioners…

But having the Reds start the season was always a right of passage…

It's easily been since like the late 90's where they did the first game in Cincinnati. I want to say like 2002 is when it began with opening night being the previous year's World Series champion opening the season.

Israel DM Katz threatens annexation of Gaza territory, unless Hamas releases hostages.   Indeed

Joshua 1:9.  Have not I commanded thee?

Be strong and of good courage, be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed, for the Lord thy God is with thee where so ever thou go.   Amen Thanks

Summary of tigers offseason:

Lowball Skubal

Sign an aging starter on the decline - Flaherty

Sign an aged, injured starter whose not ready to go yet - Cobb

Sign a 2b who is way on the decline and refuses to play 3b in a pinch - gleyber torres

Get a bunch of guys hurt so instead of brooming Baez out of town we are getting MORE of him this year, including maybe at a position (CF) that he hasnt played.

No chance this team finishes .500, let alone at the 83.5 o/u on fanduel.  I would put your wife on the street for money to bet on that under.

Yeah.  Im saying 80 wins tops.  Gonna be a tough season.  The division sucks tho so maybe they can stay relevant and make it interesting

I could google it, but why are we in a delay in Toronto? Aren't they in a dome?

pfffftttt, the Royals improved in the offseason by adding a true leadoff guy in India which moves some lesser offensive players to the bench more often.  Also really ramped up the bullpen which was one of the biggest weaknesses last year.  If (and I get it's a big if) Witt and Vinnie and Salvy stay healthy, I could see the Royals improving on their win total from a year ago (which shocked just about everyone).

I really like what the new front office and manager is doing for this team.

White Sox do sux tho.

Blah blah. The AL Central will be the worst division in baseball.
