There's some interesting strategy that could be had if you can move a guy between an OF and P position if you find a guy competent enough who can handle it. I think one guy should only count for one guy on a 26 man roster Maybe I'm not understanding it right. Do you not like that he can continue to DH in a lineup after being removed as a pitcher? The extra inning rule I could go either way but I get it. Only complaint I have is why teams have off today and the season starting in Japan or Korea in the middle of the night.
