Saquan for MVP

Recommended Posts

Could Barkley get MVP? His odds went from plus 5k to plus 400 with only Jackson and Allen in front of him.

I know someone who bet on him to win MVP in pre season.   wasnt a large bet, but vegas has already offered a reasonably decent payout to walk from the wager.

Tough one to decide, historically no, it’s a Qb award.

And for this reason... reaching on draft day on your gut instinct is what wins championships

well, not always, but I always tell people, its better to win or lose with YOUR guys.

picking a player because someone else rated him high isnt necessarily a reason to take them, but if you have done your research and you have some breakout candidates you like,  you should go out and get them.  dont let that research go to waste.

In a redraft league, some passed on him, others didn’t.   Those that did made the right call, those that didn’t, blew it.  It’s the life of a ff owner.

I did mine.  and I wasnt buying.  I have zero shares of the guy.  but got Sequon and King Henry in a few leagues where I was able to get them.   Pretty happy with that result.

Early season, MVP talk was Derrick Henry...

Mid season, MVP talk is Saquon Barkley...

End of season, MVP will be Lamar Jackson...

well, the eagles and the Ravens are both smart teams.  they will want their starting RB rested for the playoffs.  It would not surprise me if they limit the touches in garbage time or sit the player for a game to rest him late.

that makes it a little tougher for a RB to stay in the MVP conversation.   even though I'd love to see this.

MVP should extend through the playoffs and not just the regular season.

as far as Saquan goes he has extremely lowered the values of both Brown and Smith

I feel like he's earned it.

They will probably give it to Allen but Barkley has 2-3 games where he could come close to 200 yards each

The award goes to Josh Allen and it's not close.

They gave it to Lamar last year when Josh had the better stats, but Baltimore as a team did better, now the roles reversed.

Josh has had two games in a row in prime time with plays labeled "plays of the year".  Against KC Josh went in for a TD on a 4th and two.  And yesterday had the hook and ladder with Cooper that set the table for Josh to be the only QB in history for a passing, receiving, and running TD.

While Philly with Barkley are doing well, Philly did well last year, the year over year difference isn't significant.  The Bills were thought to be retooling this year and instead, behind the play of Allen look to be contenders for the Superbowl.

Joe Burrow.  Not his fault his defense is the Lois Lane (galactically stupid), of the NFL world.
