Curious to know if you own Barkley should you handcuff Gainwell to him in ppr leagues?

Absolutely

No ...gainwell is a smallish change of pace catching back ....would not be able to handle a full work  load... He would remain in the same role with Shipley taking over duties

with a name like Gainwell, how could you not think he couldnt Gain Well once he is listed as the starter (ok bad pun I will admit to it)

I do think he can handle a full workload (he has in the past)   whether he can do it over the course of a full season may be another matter.   but if he were to become the starter tomorrow, He would be just fine up til the end of the year.   Obviously he wouldnt put up Sequon type numbers, but I bet he could get 80 yards a game fairly consistently if the role was thrust onto his shoulders.   the Philly O line blocks quite well and Gainwell is good enough to be productive there.   Just not Sequon productive ;)

In ppr where would you rank him overall?  High or low RB2?  High or low RB3?

Dumpoffs in this offense could elevate his value.

probably low to mid RB2 if Sequon is not playing.   hes low end RB3 or RB4 if Sequon is in the lineup

Who would you be dropping for him, and what does your stable of Rbs look like?

Disagree.  What full work load has he handled in the past?

He’s had three games for in which he handled the most rushing att, he had 14 in those three games, he avg 3.4 per rush.

I think Shipley might be in line for work like posted above, but I don’t see where Gainwell has established himself as the clear full load next up rb on the Eagles.

Plus if Barkley goes down, Hurts rushing tds will increase.

Well here's my team:

Hurts, Purdy (just picked him up to keep away from competition)

Barkley, Walker, Charbonnet, Aaron Jones, McNichols

St.Brown, Tyreek, Meyers, DeVonta Smith

Kelce

Been streaming Ds ---Houston, Bengals for week 14

Other high end cuffs available are Corum, Davis

When Ekeler was concussed I picked up McNichols.

Very good team, congrats, I would keep it intact.  I wouldn’t release any of your WRs, this time of the season keep two QBs isn’t a bad decision.

From what I’ve been seeing about Ekeler, he might not be returning soon, and BRob has had his fair share of injuries. I think you should keep what you have.

Would you keep McNichols over Cam Akers?

If A Jones goes down , who’s up next, it could be Chandler possibly over Akers,   What I like about keeping McNichols, is that Ekeler might not be returning soon, and BRob hasn’t been able to stay healthy, I would keep McNichols imo.

No, there's no need to.  Gainwell will not be used the same way that Barkley is and Shipley's role would increase.  Shipley might even be the guy that gets more touches, not Gainwell.
