The Congressman accused the SS guy of attending the 9/11 ceremony so he could get close to Trump to try and gain some influence while sacrificing actual SS detail thus jeopardizing Trump's security.  The SS called BS saying he was there as a civilian honoring the fallen SS members.

Expect to see a lot more theater like this in Congress now that these MAGA clowns think they have some kind of mandate to rid the deep state or whatever.

They didn't sweep the golf course because- allegedly- it was not a scheduled stop for Trump. He told them very late he was going to be golfing there which did not give them the proper amount of time to do a sweep of the course. They probably still should have said to Trump he had to wait so they could properly sweep the area- which I'm sure Trump would have easily acquiesced too.

They were doing their typical job of staying 2-3 holes ahead of the person to sweep individual areas and that is when they saw the gunman in doing a visual sweep. 

I've never seen it mentioned anywhere and may have missed the article that mentions it but...I wonder did Trump have less security than a former President/current candidate normally would.

I think the failure for the SS in this instance comes from not making Trump wait until they could do a more thorough sweep of the area. They may have never been able to do a full scale one but they could've done more than they did.
