Hawkeye21 2,216 Posted December 5 There was a 7.0 earthquake off the coast of California today. Many people are evacuating in case of a tsunami.
naomi 355 Posted December 5 I felt it just as a smooth wave under my feet (while sitting in home office) in inland Nor Cal. Some colleagues in a skyscraper in Sacramento really felt the swaying; there was cracking and crashing noises, drawers coming open. Unnerving but everything/one is fine. Fnord 1,664 Posted December 5 Damn, I used to live near there. Easily the 3rd worst part about living in CA, behind traffic and real estate prices.
5-Points 3,185 Posted December 5 Didn't feel a thing. Earthquakes are nothing. I'd take a good earthquake over a tornado any day.
