Definitely right. They would have gone up 20 to 0 and not had the Broncos feel as if they dodged a huge bullet. Denver took the ball and went down and scored

Pretty sure the Broncos had more than 0 points when that play occurred.  Definitely was a momentum changer though.

No, that was Robert Edwards from NE, IIRC. Again, yesterday is a fog, but I got this shlt on lockdown. Robert Smith just up and left, like Barry. I think he was also a giant alcoholic at the time, which may have played into his decision.

I traded Smith in a package deal that netted me Randy Moss just prior to Smith's last season. The guy I traded with still brings it up. Good times.

Awesome!  When I joined my keeper league, the buddy who asked me in gave me a cheat sheet to help me with the draft, which was in two days.  The deep keeper team I inherited sucked except for Dorsey Levens, who was ranked #4 on the sheet.  That same buddy had the #3 RB, and I figured 3 is better than 4, right?  So at the draft I asked if he wanted to trade up, and he did -- he was a big Levens fan. 

The guy I got was just traded from the Colts to the Rams.  Name was Marshall Faulk.  He still talks about it.

Oh, and that cheat sheet was from a place called FFToday.  It is how I heard about this cesspool.

Nah.  Every game is filled with potential scoring plays that go wrong.  I understand your perspective, but 1 score that doesn’t count wouldn’t kill a team in the 3rd quarter if they had even an average QB.  The Colts have the worst QB in the league, by a large measure, and that’s what hurts them most.

Also, that TD would have made it 20-7, not 20-0.

Nice. I'm still in the same keeper league. We're in season 27. The season you're referencing jogged another memory. Sometime around the 9th round of the draft, one of the idjits that is no longer in the league says "guys, I know this one is from deep left field, but I'm gonna take Edgerrin James!"

James, the guy that replaced Faulk in Indy, a first round draft choice of the Colts, had been taken in the second round by the guy that also ended up with Faulk, Torry Holt, and eventually Kurt Warner. He absolutely demolished the league that year.
