MLCKAA 512 Posted December 16 I see he’s getting roasted online, but I can’t take my eyes off the Colt’s “quarterback” being 5/17 through 3 quarters.

patweisers44 746 Posted December 16 I dont understand why its even a thing. Is it a subtle taunt at the other team dropping the ball like that? I just dont get it man.

Shouldn't celebrating before scoring be like #1 on the list of "Don't do this." ? These guys are seriously like children.

edjr 6,306 Posted December 16 Cost the Colts the game, 100%.
jerryskids 6,172 Posted December 16 Some defender did it yesterday as well, after picking up a fumble. I forget what game, I saw it on Red Zone.
jerryskids 6,172 Posted December 16 Also, Larry Fitz famously never showboated. He just flipped the ball to the official every time.

Yep these people are really stupid. That makes 3 so far this year. The idiot defender was switching hands as he had some stupid plan to dance like an moron. Ya get into the EZ with the ball and you do this. Not the ghey as fock crap they all do.

nobody 2,467 Posted December 16 Jerry Rice did it against the Saints one year back when the Saints were in the same division as the 49ers eons ago, but it's the Saints, so they didn't call it and gave him the TD. The announcers were even like, "wait shouldn't that be a fumble."

I was so pissed cause I HATED the 49ers back then. Also can't remember anything about yesterday, but a random NFL game from 35 years ago still jogs memories. Getting old is getting old. No, that was Robert Edwards from NE, IIRC. Again, yesterday is a fog, but I got this shlt on lockdown. Robert Smith just up and left, like Barry. I think he was also a giant alcoholic at the time, which may have played into his decision.

Good times. Awesome! When I joined my keeper league, the buddy who asked me in gave me a cheat sheet to help me with the draft, which was in two days. The deep keeper team I inherited sucked except for Dorsey Levens, who was ranked #4 on the sheet. That same buddy had the #3 RB, and I figured 3 is better than 4, right? So at the draft I asked if he wanted to trade up, and he did -- he was a big Levens fan. The guy I got was just traded from the Colts to the Rams. Name was Marshall Faulk. He still talks about it. Oh, and that cheat sheet was from a place called FFToday. It is how I heard about this cesspool.

I understand your perspective, but 1 score that doesn’t count wouldn’t kill a team in the 3rd quarter if they had even an average QB. The Colts have the worst QB in the league, by a large measure, and that’s what hurts them most. Also, that TD would have made it 20-7, not 20-0.

The season you're referencing jogged another memory. Sometime around the 9th round of the draft, one of the idjits that is no longer in the league says "guys, I know this one is from deep left field, but I'm gonna take Edgerrin James!" James, the guy that replaced Faulk in Indy, a first round draft choice of the Colts, had been taken in the second round by the guy that also ended up with Faulk, Torry Holt, and eventually Kurt Warner. He absolutely demolished the league that year.
