Don’t know much about them, but I just googled them and realized that Rachel Zegler (Snow White) was in the Steven Spielberg remake of West Side Story in 2019.  Actually a pretty cool story as she was in the play in high school and got the role as her film debut.

She does look pretty white in some of her photos, including this viral video of her singing a Star is Born as a high schooler.

She also was apparently named after Rachel from Friends, doesn’t really get much more white than that.  Basically people like @edjr upset that Snow White got some sun.

I was specifically talking about Michael Vick.  The criticisms about him were and still are, dead on.  He was a great athlete and terrible QB.

The NFL has changed, so the rules make it easier for the Michael Vick type QB's can translate better.  That said, there hasn't really been any successful QB's with the trait of great athlete/bad QB.  Can you name any?  I mean, Lamar Jackson is possibly the closest you can get.  Even still, coming out of the draft, it was known that he was a raw passer that needed time to develop.  I think he's at the point where he's a fairly decent QB.  If he was no longer able to run, I think he'd be "ok".  Vick was never "ok".  He was always bad... just novel.  It took some teams a little time to figure him out.  The modern day NFL QB's that resemble Vick would RG3, Manziel, Tebow, & Fields.  None of them had or will have a good NFL career.

Of course you can.  Tom Brady won the SB just a few years ago.  Matthew Stafford won it AFTER Tom Brady.   And while Pat Mahomes is mobile and a capable runner he is a pass first QB.   Believe it or not honey there have been mobile QB's pretty much as long as the NFL has existed.  The good passing ones just don't run out of the pocket at the first sign of trouble.

The point of my statement is that times change. You guys are still saying Vick sucks and running the ball is risky and standing in the pocket throwing the ball is just as good as being mobile. We'll see....

2010 in particular.  4th in the league in QB rating and 5th in QBR.  Yes they lost in the first round of the playoffs to the Packers but they went on to win the SB that year

Running style quarterbacks don't win in the playoffs very often. A running QB has never won a super bowl.

The ideal is a QB who is an accurate, creative, and thoughtful passer that can run when he has to.

Vick and to a lesser degree Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen rely on their legs too much.  From week to week teams don't cope with the change in style well when the time to practice and develop game plans is limited.  In the playoffs, teams get ready for that style and shut them down.

Mahomes is ideal.  Jayden Daniels looks to have the right mix as well.

I'm much less offended by changing Snow White's skin color than I am at the fact that Disney specifically and Hollywood generally seem to be incapable of finding new material to work with.

Saw Moana 2 with the kids last week. Decent movie, but the previews were striking. Nothing original anywhere. A Paddington sequel followed by three consecutive trailers for animated films being done in live action. Snow White of course, but also Lilo & Stitch and How To Train Your Dragon (which, based on what I saw, literally looked like a shot-for-shot remake of the original.)

Peak tv destroyed Hollywood's ability to make original movies, and now peak tv is over and we're stuck with terrible entertainment. At least we have Trump and football.
