I have a 5 year old niece who I go and see once a week, after hanging out with her for a couple hours and giving her piggy back rides and what not I'm absolutely exhausted. You've got to be mentally unstable to choose to have 6 of those little focks running around. It's not linear. A single child gets doted on by both parents. With two, each gets individual parent attention. We ended up with three, where you need to play a zone defense vs. man to man. At this point kids learn valuable lessons like patience, since your son for instance is stuck sitting in the dance studio lobby waiting for his sisters' class to end. I imagine by six, the dynamic is something like Lord of the Flies meets Hunger Games. My bro's wife is the youngest of eight. Countless times people have said to her "OMG, why did your parents have eight kids?!" which is basically saying, "you should never have been born."

WhiteWonder 2,565 Posted January 29 22 hours ago, jerryskids said: Also, on a random golf note: I think I mentioned here that I got a 4-pack of golf lessons for my son and me for Christmas. We had the first lesson last week. I've never had a lesson, because I always think I'm the smartest person in the room. After watching one, maybe two of my swings with a wedge, the instructor pointed out that I was doing a low backswing, inside-out type of swing which was restricting my (already bad) flexibility and, contrary to what you (and by you, I mean "I") would think, causing me to push irons to the right, unless I Mr. Snappy'd them to the left. He had me work on a 1/2 to 2/3 speed swing with an exaggerated straight back takeaway. Also had me stand a little farther away from the ball. We moved to a 7 iron, and holy shiot, I was hitting the ball close to 150 yards with what felt like barely a swing. If you take the club back inside and then come over the top on the downswing, most people will slice or hit a weak push as they cut or wipe across the ball. Probably has you standing up and out of your stance and falling back a bit… or a lot. Sometimes you will “Mr snappy” it. I tell my friends to take the club away low and slow and exaggerate feeling like they are pushing the club out and away from their body as they take it away. Put an alignment stick behind the ball pointed out to the right (if you’re standing behind the ball) and try to keep the club on that path as long as possible on your backswing. This leaves pretty much no option but to have a more out to in swing path

jerryskids 6,317 Posted Thursday at 04:07 PM Something to check out for the WM Open next week: Quote ESPN to debut golf betting broadcast at Phoenix Open By Brandon Brown – Senior Reporter, Phoenix Business Journal Jan 29, 2025 WM Phoenix Open in February will be the first PGA tournament that ESPN will stream a betting-focused alternate broadcast. Earlier this week, ESPN, its gaming partner Penn Entertainment and the PGA Tour announced it would be launching a live betting stream on ESPN+ that will provide key data, insights and live betting analysis during coverage of six marquee FedExCup events across the 2025 PGA Tour season. The stream will be branded with ESPN Bet, which is operated by Penn but with a licensing agreement with ESPN. Penn and the PGA Tour recently signed a multi-year agreement making ESPN Bet the “Official Betting Operator of the PGA Tour.” The first ESPN Bet on PGA Tour Live stream will be on Feb. 6 during the WM Phoenix Open. The stream will be available to ESPN+ subscribers and will providing live golf coverage in the two hours leading up to the linear broadcast window. ESPN has brought on Jonathan Coachman to host the event, as well as on-course reporter Michael Collins and analysts including Matt Every and Graham DeLaet to present content and discussion on hole-by-hole live betting and tournament markets. Beside the WMPO, The ESPN Bet programing has been lined up for The Players Championship, Truist Championship, the Memorial Tournament, Travelers Championship and the FedEx St. Jude Championship. As part of the deal with the PGA Tour, ESPN Bet and Penn will have rights to use PGA Tour marks as well as connect with fans through content and advertising within Tour media and partner platforms. The PGA Tour and the WMPO have a separate connection with online sportsbook DraftKings. Thanks to a deal with the PGA Tour and TPC Scottsdale, DraftKings is able to operate within the state of Arizona and it has a retail sportsbook on site of TPC Scottsdale, near the entrance of the WMPO. It is definitely a niche market, and if you dig deep enough there is info out there now. From what I have seen out of ESPN wagering shows, this may help us as the so called football experts are auto fade for me.
