Trying to do this without that would be...hard. *Torn definitely has the team to beat this year.* "Can I do that over again" moments: There are still saves available on the board in round <checks round> 25 almost 26. That NEVER happens. So taking closers early while it felt right at the time, I could have waited a round or two and gotten similar value Not taking a more SPs prior to the great pitcher run of the late teens/early 20s: Eflin, Schmidt, Bieber, Buehler, Rasmussen, Bradley, Perez, Woodruff, Eovaldi, Scherzer & Lodolo (11 pitchers out of 20 picks - I had 3 of 9 the non starting pitcher picks ::FACEPALM::). I kept telling myself - there are still more, there are still more. I was able to snag Darvish but this feels like an opportunity missed and lots of 16-18 round keepers in the future. Snipes: Strider in 7 (2 picks before me) - settled for Webb and happy All of the SPs mentioned above - this is just me being an ID10t.

Torn 45 Posted March 12 Excellent job by all with the draft - quick and smooth! PSU - thanks again for taking the Commish role for the season. I can't thank you enough for stepping up to do so! Posty (Eeyore ) - thanks as always for providing the spreadsheets that help the league to easily get the info we need for keepers and the draft. You love to martyr yourself annually by saying things run better since you left, but your sheets are a major reason why things continue to go well. To all - thanks again for all of the reach outs, offers to Commish beyond just PSU, kind words and support I've received since my wife passed. I'm glad I was still able to participate as a manager this year. The distraction came at a time when I needed it most. Great league, great competition and great people ... Good luck this season! PSULions 0 Posted March 12 The 2025 Dugout Fantasy Draft is now COMPLETE! Great work guys to knock it out in about 10 days! Please check your rosters to make sure each of you have the 30 players that you kept or drafted. If you have any issues, please let me know and I will make the necessary adjustments. THANKS! One thing I'd suggest before hitting the "Begin Season" button - Go into the draft rounds and tag the keepers in Yahoo. It's an important tidbit to be aware of from a trade or waiver standpoint during the season and could affect FAB investments or trade thoughts. p.s. My roster looks accurate... It's an important tidbit to be aware of from a trade or waiver standpoint during the season and could affect FAB investments or trade thoughts. p.s. My roster looks accurate... I tagged all the keepers at the start in the Yahoo website and added the drafted players as the draft progressed. I completed a double check of the rosters (via a chart within Yahoo Commission box) and everyone has 30 players on their rosters and I checked the Yahoo rosters compared to Posty's Draft Tracking worksheet and I believe it is all correct, so I hit the Begin Season button within the Yahoo website, so you should see your team and your $100 budget for FA bids per the tweak we adjusted to start the season. Please let me know if I made an errors in your rosters so we can adjust any rosters that are not correct.

I like the new FA Waiver Wire process and it was a nice change to bid for players that were on wanting to add to your roster. I also like how the League Standings provide a quick and easy way to see the WW adds, and each teams WW budget. Great idea by Morgan to suggest it while we were finishing the draft! You changed a rule for the season with only four people saying it wasn’t a bad idea and then making the change? So much for a majority vote being required…
strombn 5 Posted March 20 Wait, is $100 the budget for the year??? I’m going to have to ask for a reset of my budget or at least a restore to $98. Also further explanation of FAB would be helpful

Also further explanation of FAB would be helpful Yep, it looks like it is $100 for the year... But as I mentioned above, this didn't look like it was approved by a majority of owners and honestly should not have been implemented for this current season at such a late time... In my opinion... TalentScout 2 Posted March 20 We discussed it two seasons ago and I think the plan was to implement it last year but just we forgot. Nobody was against it. It isn't a major change but just adds a little extra fun to the waiver wire. Yes, the $100 is for the whole season. You can always bid 0 dollars on a waiver player but if someone else bids more than 0 dollars they would get the player. It is just a blind bid so I might bid $20 and the next highest bid might be $1. I would pay $20, not $2.

Also further explanation of FAB would be helpful The only times that this will actually come into play is Yahoo adds a player currently not in the database (which is infrequent) or if someone drops a player that several other owners might want grab to improve their rosters. In which case, you put in your bid for $3 or $5 or $10 depending how badly you may want that player. I believe your current budget will last you the rest of the year without any issue. Yes, I was thinking that it would be Max bid, so in your example, it would be $2 and not $20. i don’t think it will really make a big difference if we do it or not. Maybe put it to an official vote to try it out or not. i would think we can reset the budget for the year, but if not, oh well
TalentScout 2 Posted March 21 From yahoo: https://help.yahoo.com/kb/SLN6811.html Each manager is given a budget that ranges between $1 (min) to $999,999,999 (max) to make offers on unclaimed players that are on waivers. The default budget is $100, but the commish of a Private League can adjust the budget as they see fit. Offers are blind, so other managers can't see what your offer is. Your offer can range from $0 to the remainder of your budget. Highest offer at the end of the waiver period signs the player. Offer amount is deducted from the manager's budget that signs the player. Ties are broken by Continual Rolling List waiver priority.
