I got annoyed seeing my friends kid wear a Justin Jefferson jersey.  There are no Vikings fans here.   They are Bills fans.  Then it dawned on me I loved Barry....who wouldn't between like 6-12?   And I had his jersey although I was firmly a Packers fan.

Ignoring golfers…

all time?  Garnett, Montana, Chrebet, Tino Martinez, Tomlinson

Current?  Blake Snell, Garrett Wilson, Jayden Daniels, Dame Lillard, Randy Arozarena

Kevin Kiermaier could be 6th on both lists. I have always loved great defensive center fielders. He’s still playing but his career mostly feels over.

He would be 6.  Hard leaving some off, like O’Neill and Bavaro, Banks and Harry Carson, LT

Seitzer was the craze back in '88 for cards etc.  I saw a couple games at Royals Stadium back in '87.  Went there to see Bo Jackson.  Well, just before I got there he broke his collarbone.  Either way, got to see Seitzer, picked up a couple of yearbooks I have to this day from them.  Saw Bill Ripken hit his first big league HR in one game and Phil Nikero get one of his 318 wins in the other.  Royals lost both.  Also learned that upper deck is steep as a damn cliffside.

Obviously, he's the odd duck in my list.   Bo might have made more sense, but my little brother was all in on bo.

It might have been that when I really started playing and watching baseball, George was in the twilight of his career and he was making the move from 3rdc to first and hoping Seitz was going to be that next start to cement his legacy at third.  Or maybe watching his hustle and determination day in and day out

Really I'm not sure what it was, but even to this day my slow pitch softball number is 33.

:)
