Hopefully the celebs will be able to rebuild with top of the line gas appliances.  Can't expect their personal chefs to cook on electric stoves like the poor folks.

CA will NEVER allow those people along the coast to rebuild. They've been trying to get rid of them for years.  These fires were a godsend for CA government.

In regards to government incompetence, has anyone asked why the insurance companies knew the fire danger was so high, they didn't want to renew policies, but supposedly the government couldn't be expected to be aware and do some thing about it?

This is all on Newsome. It's his State and his job to know what's going on. Why was the Emergency Services budget cuts? Why haven't they been clearing hazardous brush, why didn't he make sure all reservoirs were full, why did he donate fire fighting equipment to Ukraine, why didn't he accept help sooner?? 

He should be answering these questions in front of Congress.
