Texans appear pretty banged up.  Joe Mixon didn't practice today or yesterday.

Thursday's practice brought some bad news for the Texans, who saw RB Joe Mixon sit out of the final practice of the week due to injury. Mixon first appeared on the injury report with an ankle injury on Wednesday after practicing in full on Tuesday to start the week. Texans media members strongly believe Mixon will still play on Saturday, but this at least raises some questions about his potential availability. Even if he does play in the game, there's certainly reason to believe he won't be 100% healthy.

Not sure I’d give them much of a chance fully healthy.  Maybe if they had Dionte Johnson…

I wasnt giving them much of a chance either.

biggest threat is if KC under estimates their opponent.    if its a tough team, KC seems to win by lots of points.   if its not a tough team KC wins by a FG (often a late 4th quarter score seals it for them)

they seem to play to the level of their competition for most of the game and then turn it on at the end.    so playing a weaker team I'd actually say their chances of winning go down.   it feels weird saying this, but that seems to be the way its been for KC this year.

in the end I think they win, but its seriously questionable whether they cover that spread.

I have to think because its a playoff game, they wont leave it to chance so they probably do cover it.   but my confidence in this is not overly high.
