Why don't we have the name of the Blackhawk helicopter pilot?

No. If you Read the official literature it will tell you that it actually started in the mid-60s.

I just searched my work email and the date where DEI and equity first appeared was August 2021, nothing before that time.

I only recall the words Affirmative Action being used and those decisions were made behind closed doors. All this sensitivity training is a new phenomenon.

Please explain how you experienced DEI prior to 2020.

Wut?  You checked your email?  Is that how you do historical research?

Yes, but I wrote in the last comment that Civil rights and affirmative action would fall under the umbrella of DEI but you know that current meaning with all training and trans inclusivity is a modern phenomena.
I never used the term DEI in 2016 or before.

Anyway, I don’t care about it:

Top 20 ROTC. Cool. Great achievement.  Where did she rank as a pilot?  But I will say that if she sucked I would like to think that it was revealed way before she got to 500 hours. And if she did, I don’t think the other  pilots would be flying with her. That’s just my guess.

None of that matters to libtards. She's a she. That is what counted.

Does anyone know why the Pilot Instructor isn’t getting the same scrutiny?

There is some blame there. He should have realized she was incompetent and relieved her of controls but he has suffered enough for that mistake.

I want to know how they didn't see it, and why they said they saw it. The ATC told them it was landing on runway 33. Is there a blind spot? I mean there is, because I've seen pictures/video of the inside of a black hawk helicopter.  So many mistakes made by both the Helicopter Pilots and ATC although they let one of the other ATC leave early at peak runway times and had this poor guy covering airplane take-offs, airplane landings, and helicopters. So people in charge and people setting minimums on numbers of Controllers all focked up it seems.

If we are laying blame I’d add the Commander in Chief screaming about DEI as bodies were still floating in the Potomac.

Whatever. That didn't cost the lives of 73 people.

Yeah, it takes a leader to point out the truth when things happen and to not cry like a baby like you liberals do.

The flight data recorders have been recovered but whatever info they retrieved has not been released yet so I don't know anything, but you're right. "Hey Dingb*tch, we're supposed to be under 200 feet, but you're at 300 feet," would have helped greatly. Maybe he said it maybe he didn't.

In the Army during basic training, we were expected to throw live grenades. There was a cadre right there in the bunker with me when I tossed mine. I never heard of anyone dying this way. I pulled the pin and successfully chucked that focker as far as I could - just like every other person in the 30 years before me and the 30 years since. Now suppose instead, I fumbled the damn thing...

I imagine you took a road test with a driving instructor once upon a time. If you'd smashed into a streetlight pole, how much blame would you put on your instructor?

That was a stupid thing to say. Fortunately that seemed to have registered with him, he's not repeated it since.

We don’t really know what caused the problem. That shithead blathering about it is damaging and shameful.

Lol.
Trump never gets any smarter . If he’s stopped saying it it’s only because his mind has moved on to other stuff (like how best to cave in to Canada and Mexico in order to extricate himself from the huge tariff mess he started.)

That was kind of the point though - we don’t know what happened.

That this soldier was being trashed (another was because they were misidentified) and that it was being greatly amplified by our CoC is crazy to me.

This is how you're spinning that? He got Mexico and Canada to both patrol the border with 10K extra troops. Now I'd not thought that the Canadian border needed any more patrolling, but whatever. He got those concessions for free.

His brain froze from all the winning Trump has going on.

He's in a catatonic state of disbelief at how wrong he always is and can't comprehend anything.

They’re not concessions. Both countries already agreed to do this prior to the tarrffs. And it’s not for free either; just the threat of the tariffs have hurt us with S&P and it will be a while before investors return.

One may be right to question if they will be effective, and I've been kind of trying to stay out of this but factually the argument you are making is incorrect.  This is from the NY Times, and I'll link the article as well.  These are additional troops to what are presently there.

Deploy to the U.S.-Mexico border 10,000 members of the Mexican National Guard, a militarized force tasked with security operations and, in recent years, migration enforcement efforts. The deployment is in addition to the mix of police forces, Mexican Army soldiers and guardsmen already patrolling the border. The National Guard troops will be focused on curbing the flow of fentanyl and illegal migrants into the United States.

Umm they deployed 10,000 troops in 2021. They deployed 15,000 troops in 2019. Who are we kidding here?
