squistion 1,840 Posted February 8 Mixed reaction, although mostly favorable due to the fact that it is expensive to attend, which more likely means Trump supporters with money rather than your everyday NFL fan. Fun Fact: The cheapest seats are on the Superdome terrace (the stadium's upper level, in the 20th row) cost about $3,000 each on Ticketmaster.
The Real timschochet 5,968 Posted February 8 I detest Trump but if I was there I would not boo. I personally think that at a public gathering booing the President is disrespectful to the office. On the other hand he is a disgrace to that office so I couldn’t cheer either. I would stay silent.

weepaws 3,103 Posted February 8 How many threads does the board need about this issue? again I think it’s prideful for the president to be possibly putting lives in danger, but that’s the trump . 2 Thessalonians 1:3. We are bound to thank God always for you, brethren, as it is meet, because that your Faith grows exceedingly, and the charity of every one of you all toward each other abound. Indeed Amen Thanks

Fun Fact: The cheapest seats are on the Superdome terrace (the stadium's upper level, in the 20th row) cost about $3,000 each on Ticketmaster. We call the upper terrace the “nose bleed seats”. I went to an LSU Sugar Bowl game when I was a much younger lad, two rows from the very top on the fifty yard line. I also went to a Metallica/Guns&Roses concert that I brought my two Malaysian friends and basically had the same seats. It’s treacherous just getting up there, and coming down is a nightmare. I can’t believe people are paying three grand for those seats. They look like ants from way up there. Fawking crazy. As far as his reaction, Im thinking respect for the office of the presidency. Those that don’t will have to deal with alcohol induced anger from others. I wouldn’t advise them to do so.
Hardcore troubadour 14,660 Posted February 8 I was at the Joe Horn cell phone game. I was sitting on the aisle and a saints fan a few rows behind me would run up and blow this horn at our row every time the Saints scored. It was a blow out. After about the third or fourth time I warned him he was getting on my nerves and to cut it out. He didn’t listen. He ended up with my beer in his face. It was hilarious. He went back to his seat and I didn’t hear from him again.

If this were a regular season game, I'd expect a huge ovation. But this is a largely corporate affair, with only a smattering of real fans. So I expect a mostly respectful, golf clap type of reception.
WhiteWonder 2,631 Posted February 8 Regular NFL game or playoff game even he probably gets a much louder ovation than he will at the Super Bowl with all the swift fans and entertainers in attendance. The stands are not filled with your every day, typical Americans.

I stood up for any fan there to have a great time and enjoy it. I always enjoyed the playful banter and ribbing with opposing fans. Much fun and respect. The Horn phone gene was on a Sunday night game. For the life of me I can’t remember who we were playing that night.
