I am sentimental about Matsuyama in this tournament. I had him in 2020 at the Players and it was the best single day I've ever had in an EdEx tournament. Matsuyama held the lead after Round One. Then, next day, tournament cancelled. My huge Day One lead never got a chance to grow some legs. We'll see what comes around in this instance.

I debated spieth on last pick and went track record over other factors. He is a guy that is annoying to watch and hard to root for.

I actually talked to Speef in 2016 or 2017 at the WGC at Firestone for a minute or two. He was waiting for his caddy by the putting green so I figured I’d strike up a convo with him. He couldn’t have been nicer, maybe I just caught him on a good day though. He does whine a lot

I miss Firestone and the WGC. The schedule these days stinks.

Same. I think they still have a Champions Tour event there but it’s not the same. I used to love to go there and watch Tiger own the place every year. Plus it was a great track to watch golf at.

I remember seeing him yell at adults who were trying to get his autograph after a round or practice round ... or maybe I am confusing it with a news story. Could be both. I saw a lot of these guys and interacted with a few when the Barclays was still a thing and rotating between courses around me,  plus the PGA at Baltusrol and US Open at Shinnecock. 

I remember disliking Spieth for that reaction. I get it, kids come first... but everyone paid to be there and without the fans there would be no sponsors and no multi-million dollar purses. I actually unintentionally have his autograph twice, one is on a flag with Tiger, Rickie and JDay. 

Henrik Stenson is/was an awesome dude. I razzed him a bit after he won his Open and he razzed me right back and was willing to take a picture with me. Rickie always seemed very down to earth for being a golf pop star at the time. I also had 2-3 interactions with Phil and he was nice. I dated a girl who worked for cbs, I think and she was at the most recent PGA at Baltusrol and claims Phil is a dbag. Maybe I am blinded by my fandom but I don't understand how a "fake dbag" could spend hours after rounds with fans.

Yes. the guy who is so triggered by my "whining", yet quits over any little thing, quit mid season twice now. Apparently he can't ignore the rest of the posts around this one .   I still like him, but sometimes he makes it really hard with the hypocrisy
