Voltaire 5,146 Posted March 27 I heard another Petronas ad on the radio today, that plus the one yesterday makes two and brings our running tally of Voldemort to Petronas ads I've heard something like 454 to 2. Also, Trump wants to withdraw Setfanik's name from consideration for the UN ambassador post, which was supposed to happen the day after the special elections in Florida. He must realize these that two Florida turds he fished out of the toilet and dumped in our laps are unlikely to win. Apparently, the other turd is doing even worse than Petronas. Trump Asks Stefanik to Withdraw Bid to Be U.N. Ambassador - The New York Times (archive.is) If Trump hadn't endorsed these wet paper bag, incompetent, unenthused idiots these seats would easily be held. We had plenty of fine LOCAL options, any one of which would have crushed Voldemort. Everyone I work with is fed up with Petronas ("he seems shady", "he doesn't live here") and it's all I can do to convince them to vote for his sorry ass anyways. One guy didn't know when the election was. You can't have right wing voters not know these things. It spells doom. You have to assume Voldemort has contacted every Democrat in the district twice over on when the election is, she's running a fine campaign.
Voltaire 5,146 Posted Friday at 11:14 PM Stefanik's withdrawal suggests Republicans are sweating their thin margins - POLITICO (archive.is) More about word getting out that the GOP is sweating these Florida seats, and they should. But this is less a referendum on Trump than the fact that Petronas and both Fine are flying turds that nobody wants to vote for, who didn't try to win, who took our votes for granted, and the only selling point is the R next to their name and the unadvertised picture of them standing next to Trump that you have to dig up. I choose to vote for the uninspiring empty suit with the R next to his name rather than the candidate I like and respect more. I am just locked in to voting for Petronas, damn the torpedoes. He's a POS candidate whose laziness and blase' attitude is gonna fock Trump and Mike Johnson in the ass. If he wins, I don't even know if he'll bother show up in Washington and do a damn thing. There is nothing he has done to win my vote. Nothing. He got it anyways, but only because I know how important this seat is for the Trump agenda. Fock him. Meanwhile Voldemort has done everything possible to win my vote, didn't get it, but earned my respect and admiration along the way. Unlike Jimmy Petronas, who I want to smack in the head and piss on, I actually like Voldemort. I just want to grab Petronas by the lapels and scream "WAKE THE FOCK UP, A$$HOLE!!" in his face. Even if he miraculously wins, fock him. But I don't think he will. His inaction has seriously jeopardized this seat.

You just believe any lie the media (that doesn't live here) tells you. I do live here. I talk to people here. That's the reason for this thread even exists. None of Voldemort's ads mention Trump nor do they mention that she is a Democrat. Around here, attacking Trump is the road to losing. This is not a referendum on Trump nor Musk. Trump is beloved and inspires people. He would easily win 2/3 of the votes here in an election like last time. What happened is that the Dems took the election seriously and the GOP did not. This is singularly (doubly) about Jimmy Petronas and that idiot in the other district who thought they could just cruise to a win based on the (R) next to their name, while the Dems went all out. Trump saddled us and the other district with two unknown idiots who put in no effort. Petronas would not have won the nomination except for Trump's endorsement. They are both sh*t candidates, who were caught flatfooted by the Dem media blitz. Petronas isn't from here, we know fockall about him other than 1) what Gay Voldemort tells us about him, 2) the aforementioned (R) next to his name, and 3) that we've all seen how he has made zero effort to win this seat. His opponent has blitzed the media market big time. His Democrat opponent has had free rein to run circles around him, defining both herself and him ... as he did nothing. He allowed himself to get beat up for weeks and weeks, unanswered. That's his fault. He allowed it to happen. This is not a referendum on Trump and Musk who are as popular as ever. Trump's endorsement, singularly, is the only reason Petronas gets more than zero votes. He hasn't won a single one himself because his campaign has been on radio silence mode. I heard one radio ad on Thursday and one on Friday. Nobody from that campaign nor the Republican Party has contacted me directly to get out to vote. Meanwhile Voldemort has been all over the airwaves and ads on my computer screen. You just know they're shaking the tree to get as many registered Dems to vote as they can. They have a well-oiled machine in that campaign. Better candidate, better campaign, better funding, more enthusiasm, caught GOP asleep with an anointed corpse candidate, ... that's why the Dems are looking to win these races. They wanted it way more and made the effort. As I've been telling you all along...

Just like "queer" use to just mean unusual. I got a refresher of that just the other day because I came across it as I was reading "Jerry Muskrat" online with what's left of the students from my school in China.
