Cop that filed the report was suspended less than 1 week after it was filed, and later pled guilty to giving information to a prostitute he was paying for sex.  The claim of him being in a gang was based on a criminal informant.

Also, “two courts” did not find the evidence of him being in a gang as credible.  One did, the second simply said he didn’t “prove that he wasn’t a danger.”

I’m fine with saying bye to him. I’m not fine with sending him to prison potentially for life.

I don't care. I have more important things to worry about. Illegal Aliens 👽 isn't one of them.

Court documents show that besides being a ranking member in MS -13, this illegal also violently beat his wife on numerous occasions. Good riddance.

Given the Trump Admin’s lack of professionalism and history of lying and fock ups, I think a court should get involved. You can’t take Dirtbag Don’s word for anything.

Who gets to decide which laws are moral and immoral? That's the problem.

The human brain can rationalize anything.

Tim does, of course.  Which goes back to my original point and proves it.

His wife wants him back though.  So you good with sending Pete Hegseth to prison in El Salvador too? He’s been accused of worse than this guy.

Him being a gang member hinges on the report of a dirty cop who got suspended less than 1 week after the report was filed for giving case information to a prostitute he was paying for sex.  And even that report was based solely on the word of a criminal informant and a Chicago Bulls hat:

https://newrepublic.com/article/194010/kilmar-abrego-garcia-case-trump-deported-error-another-hit

There was new information that came out about claims his wife made alleging domestic violence, but they were never followed through on:

https://x.com/DHSgov/status/1912567112733753563

In addition, he was apparently pulled over in 2022 “on suspicion of human trafficking,” but little details are given:

https://tennesseestar.com/justice/bidens-fbi-ordered-tn-highway-patrol-to-release-maryland-man-recently-deported-to-el-salvador-after-he-was-detained-in-2022-traffic-stop-on-suspicion-of-human-trafficking/tpappert/2025/04/16/

To support this claim, ICE relied on what’s known as a Gang Field Interview Sheet, supplied by the Prince George’s County police. It claimed that Abrego Garcia wore a Chicago Bulls hat and hoodie, that this was evidence of membership in MS-13, and that a “confidential source” had related that he was a member of the gang’s Westerns clique. But that operates in New York, where he never lived.

That's some hard evidence.  🙄

Trump accidentally deports a guy through an administrative error who just so happens to be an M-13  gang member … what are the odds? :o

Pam Bondi’s latest excuse for refusing to bring back a mistakenly deported Maryland dad is that his wife and disabled child—who have begged for his release—are better off without him.

“America is safer because he is gone. Maryland is safer because he is gone. And that woman that he is married to and that child he had with her? They are safer tonight because he is out of our country and sitting in El Salvador where he belongs,” President Donald Trump’s attorney general said Wednesday of Kilmar Abrego Garcia.

These people have no soul.

I strongly disagree that this is a “political loser” for Democrats.  I have seen quite a few Republicans condemn this action by the government, and zero Democrats defend it.

And for a lot of the centrists like myself and Republicans that are against it, it’s not really about whether or not he was a “good guy.”  It’s about the precedent this sets of not following the Supreme Court, and the apparent ability to “accidentally” deport whoever they feel like, then saying “sorry, out of our hands now” once they’re out of the country.

Even if he is a “bad guy,” unless he killed someone or something his alleged “crimes” don’t deserve potential life in prison.  At this point the best scenario for him is to simply be released from the El Salvador prison, because god knows what we’d do with him if they did send him back here.  I have not seen any justification for El Salvador to keep him in prison.  Heck our current Secretary of Defense has been “accused” of worse than this guy, can we send him to this prison too?

There is certainly more information that can come out that can make the government look bad.  For one, that the cop who filed the report that the entire claim of him being MS-13 was based on is dirty, which is a documented fact.  And then if it comes out that the guy is dead or something, I bet many people with a heart will think hey maybe coming here illegally shouldn’t be punishable by death.  Of course I know some Republicans don’t fit that description though.  And let’s be real, many people that constantly bring up Laken Riley or Rachel Morin don’t really care about them, they care about using them for political theater and to to try to make all immigrants look bad.

I'm good with a differing opinion all the way to where you dismiss out of hand as political theater the discussion of murdered citizens while you think this is good politics for a sitting US Senator to literally carry a film crew with him to El Salvador.  That's kind of an interesting take.  But if you think it's good politics, you won't get any pushback from anyone on the Trump side of this.  Have at it.

So yeah, this guy isn’t MS-13. He’s just always with them when the police stop them.

He's a terrorist, he's not a terrorist, he's a gangbanger, he's a gang victim, he's a father, he's a wifebeater, he has gang tattoos, those tattoos are meaningless...

If only there was some way for an independent fact finder to review the evidence in public and make some sort of determination to ensure the law was being followed according to a process that each person subjected to the law would be due. I dunno, man, has anyone thought of a way of doing that?

The discussion of murdered citizens is irrelevant to the Abrego Garcia case and only stokes division.

I’d call Van Hollen’s actions grandstanding, but not political theater.  At least he was trying to get something accomplished.

Did you condemn the “Epstein binder” photo shoot that contained no new information or Kristin Noem taking Libs of TikTok to “arrest” people?

No he wasn't trying to get anything accomplished.  He had 0% chance of accomplishing anything.  It was purely a photoshoot at taxpayers expense.  Meanwhile, he has never even reached out to the family of one of his constituents who was murdered by an illegal.

Only that it's not irrelevant.  Garcia was here because we didn't enforce our borders, those two specific women are dead for the same reason, their killers came in over that border.

I'm fine with political theater, grandstanding, butt slapping, whatever label you want to call it, if you are.  Or really, because neither of us have a choice.  It's simply our political reality today.  Van Hollen can do what he wants, I didn't condemn him, even though I don't think it was smart.  But let's not pretend one party does these things and the other doesn't.  I don't think I'd choose murder victims as my first call-out for it though.

I feel like I can’t see a White House press conference without Riley Gaines or some grifter “influencer” standing in the background, the current administration definitely does it more than the last one.

We’re housing bad hombres in NYC hotels at top dollar but now we’re concerned about costs. Hilarious

This is actually a good point. The story on NYC reported that the Roosevelt hotel, a luxury hotel was putting up roughly 2,000 aliens at $75,000.00 per month. So roughly $37.50 per person, or $450 per person per year.

This El Salvador prison is costing $6,000,000 for 250 persons at $24,000.00 per person.
