The Defense Department has taken down or plans to delete thousands of websites to comply with Donald Trump’s order eliminating diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) work from the federal government, including removing pages dedicated to topics like remembering the Holocaust and the September 11 terrorist attacks.

Pages already taken down include an article about the experience of Holocaust survivor Kitty Saks, who later immigrated to the U.S., and an Air Force Academy cadet majoring in history describing his experience taking scholarly visits to concentration camps in Europe, according to a CNN analysis.

Foreigners do not have the right to enter the country or are protected by the constitution. Hope that helps. I had to make declarations and answer like 20 questions when entering Canada. They have the right to deny me.  Fascists

Whenever I want to learn about growing watermelons, or repairing a heat pump, or holocaust victims, or what the 3rd R is in the LGBTQ+ alphabet lexicon means, I go to the Department of Defense website to find out more. So not having those topics covered there is tragic.

A Georgetown University researcher, who was studying and teaching on a student visa, has been detained by federal immigration authorities amid the Trump administration’s crackdown on student activists whom the government accuses of opposing American foreign policy, according to court papers.

Suri’s lawyer, Hassan Ahmad, argued in his petition that Suri is being punished because of the Palestinian heritage of his wife — who is a U.S. citizen — and because the government suspects that he and his wife oppose U.S. foreign policy toward Israel.

I think I’ll be ok. Fock the rest of the world. We’ve done enough and got what? Planes flown into our buildings, dead soldiers and our money flowing out? Nah. Time these places learned to make it on their own.

Yeah, I'm still waiting for examples of fascism. I'll put away my magnifying glass and take out my microscope to redouble my efforts.

I'll help the OP out with an actual example of fascism:

https://www.scotusblog.com/case-files/cases/national-rifle-association-of-america-v-vullo/

Here the state of New York pressured banks and insurance to not do business with the National Rifle Administration and even all three stooges on the Supreme Court thought they went too far in a 9-0 ruling.

This thread is about examples of fascism.

Your rambling comment is irrelevant.

Good thing we had the courts as a backstop to that, right?

Right?

Fascism was an ideology in a specific era of history and is not applicable to today.  It should remain in the dustbin of failed ideologies where it belongs so those of you trying to apply it to today are incredibly ignorant of history and what "fascism" really was.

I believe @Fnord is trying to point out that Trump and republicans are ok with ignoring the courts and carrying out their plans.  That it's a good thing we have courts to keep politicians in check.  The thing that this dope doesn't understand is that the state courts in NY, all were ok with that level of fascism.  It wasn't until the bill got to SCOTUS, where it got shot down.  The funny thing, it's the same party in leadership that was ok with fascism in their state that's trying to be fascist and forcing states right's unto federal law... and that moron thinks he has a "gotchya".

Fascism probably isn't the word for it.

But I notice the usual suspects in here arguing against the OP's thoughts. I can't help but wonder what the reaction would be if Biden was doing all these things. I mean- I know....but still.....

The OP’s thoughts are that fascist acts are occurring.  But yeah, imagine arguing against that.  You’re an idiot that will say whatever stupid notion enters your head in order to seem above it and intelligent.  Not working.

I think it's funny that the BIGGEST fascists on the planet is Antifa.

Imagine calling yourself ANTI-FASCIST and yet being a FASCIST!  🤔

Imagine being one of the stupid morons that think they can't be fascist because their name implies they are against fascism.

Constitutionsl protections such as Free speech are for citizens.   Guests in this country are given the priviledge to enter, it is not a right.  Maybe one day you retards will understand what fascism/authoritarianism really is.  You focking retards spent four years cheering as they rounded up citizens for speech, leveraged social media to censor millions of Americans, had FBI raid the homes of dozens of conservative media reporters, had dozens of political prosecutions on newly invented crimes to eliminate the opposition.

But you lowlife bootlicking retards said nothing, so excuse me while I don't give a crap about your phoney outrage over a non-issue.  You are such a lying POS.

Zuckerberg hiring hundreds to work in content moderation teams at Facebook and shadow banning posts from conservatives from 2015 - 2024 is a good example.

In a new study, Yale SOM’s Tauhid Zaman and Yen-Shao Chen show how a social media platform can shift users’ positions or increase overall polarization

"It looks like there's nothing untoward happening, so they leave the network alone—and suddenly everybody thinks the earth's flat. That's what we find you could do with our technique, which is a little scary"

Leading up to the 2020 election, Zuckerberg was fulfilling a role similar to the function that Hjalmar Schacht, President of the Reichsbank, played for Hitler.

Exerting near total control requires massive funding.

Zuckerbucks and Mrs Zuckerbucks funnelled $400M through CTCL to ensure the Biden regime could secure it's footing.

If only Biden's excesses weren't ten times worse than anything Trump did (see jonmx's post seven up from this one).

Paul, Weiss — one of three law firms targeted by President Trump as part of his retribution campaign — said it resolved the conflict by agreeing to a range of commitments.

President Trump and the head of the law firm Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP have reached a deal under which Mr. Trump will drop the executive order he leveled against the firm, Mr. Trump said on Thursday.

In the deal, Mr. Trump said, the firm agreed to a series of commitments, including to represent clients no matter their political affiliation and contribute $40 million in legal services to causes Mr. Trump has championed, including “the President’s Task Force to Combat Antisemitism, and other mutually agreed projects.”

https://www.nytimes.com/2025/03/20/us/politics/paul-weiss-deal-trump-executive-order-withdrawn.html

tl;dr: trump has been issuing illegal EO's against law firms to get them to bend to his will and this one caved and paid him off.

Per trump himself in the EO what was the wrongdoing? this:

>In 2022, Paul Weiss hired unethical attorney Mark Pomerantz, who had previously left Paul Weiss to join the Manhattan District Attorney’s office solely to manufacture a prosecution against me and who, according to his co-workers, unethically led witnesses in ways designed to implicate me.  After being unable to convince even Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg that a fraud case was feasible, Pomerantz engaged in a media campaign to gin up support for this unwarranted prosecution.

So much for grave danger  of weaponization

Some ex-employee at the company was an unethical a$$hole according to Trump.... what he did.... whatever.... anyway Trump sued them... there was a $40M settlement.

My eyes kept glazing over and I got bored out of my mind as I was trying to decipher the meanings of the werds I was blankly looking at. I'll let someone else try to explain / digest this.

Rat's ass. 💤
