It seems odd that out of all the people they accidentally added, it was a journalist who hates Trump that they add. It may have been on purpose. To what end? Idk. We will probably never know for sure.

Pete hegseth's response is a true display of his character.  He first denigrates the reporter and then he denies that it happened.

He has to resign.  We know that this won't be investigated.  It will be swept under the rug.  But even someone as despicable as Trump has to realize that someone needs to go down for this shocking display of incompetency.

Signal is an encrypted method of communication that intelligence agencies use when they are outside of secured rooms and don't have access to SIPR.  It is far better than using standard text messaging, as long as you are not stupid enough to add a reporter.

To be fair- Michael Waltz is the one who added the reporter. Hegseth was relaying plans over the text chat because he (wrongfully) assumed it was a closed loop among the admin. He is trying to protect his admin brothers but it comes off really bad. Vance looks dumb too because he contradicted the President and then tried to deny this ever happened while the White House was confirming it.

I will say the same thing about this I did about Hillary. It should be investigated. If something more comes of it then do something from a legal level. Otherwise it is up to the admin to self police. Which means they won't do anything. And the regular bootlickers (jonmx) and sycophants here (you can see them) will just try to wash it away like it never happened. Trying to blame the reporter is especially hilarious.

I guess we will have to wait for the investigation or Hegseth admitting it to find out. Goldberg hasn’t published any, that would be incredibly stupid on his part.

There may have been classified material in the text. We only saw parts of it.  But it certainly has not been confirmed by the White House yet contrary to what the usual idiots here have claimed.
