Trump's objection to his Colorado Statehouse Portrait

Recommended Posts

Trump's portrait to be taken down at Colorado Capitol after president claimed it was 'distorted' Trump says he objects to the proportions.  I believe he objects as it appears to me to be an amalgam of he and Alec Baldwin portraying him.

Also, how does anyone other than an incredible narcissist have time to worry about an old portrait in one of 50 Statehouses?

It would be nice if he cared more about the 4 missing US soldiers in Lithuania....but he didn't even really get briefed on that one.....but I guess he feels this portrait is important.

This is a joke, right?

Yeah, does seem like a stupid issue to worry about.  The portrait isn't some mockery of him or anything.

Biden was out of office on vacation more than he was in office taking his frequent naps and nothing from you tards.

Trump sees a picture he doesn't like, turns to an aide and says get rid of it, and moves on and you dopes spend your days whining about it.

Can't make this shlt up. 😆

His obsession over it underscores his vanity and narcissism.

Trump’s defenders always argue that none of this (his personal behavior) matters because he is a good and effective President who gets things done. I always thought this was an interesting argument when made by the Christian right, since they failed to apply it to previous Presidents, but that’s beside the point: it’s a damn good argument and I happen to agree with it. My problem with Trump is that I don’t find him to be a good and effective President who gets things done (not things I approve of anyhow.)

As a nation we were expected to overlook Bidens obvious dementia for quite a while. I kind of agreed with it considering Kamala was next up. I have no issue overlooking Trumps  narcissistic behavior compared to that.   Could do without it though.

Imagine if you were President and there was a bad portrait of you in a Colorado statehouse... how would you react?  Take the high-road and deal with actual important government issues, or go on social media and rant about it?

Read Trump's posts about celebrities who've criticized him over the years - immediately retaliates calling them "loser, washed up, cheap, over-rated, second rate, has-been, the worst, unfunny, etc."  You'd think those statements were the ravings of an insecure adolescent.  Nope, it's the President.

How exactly did he see the picture... is he spending his days googling photos of himself?

A salient question.

Frankly I think the portrait did a poor job of capturing the orangeness of his complexion during the first term, something he has since toned down a bit.
