Wisconsin university professor placed on leave after allegedly flipping College Republicans' table

Recommended Posts

Typical focking liberal at work.

The chair of the English Department at the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire has been placed on administrative leave after allegedly flipping the College Republicans' table on campus Tuesday morning.

UW-Eau Claire Interim Provost Michael Carney confirmed the incident with Fox News.

"I am deeply concerned that our students’ peaceful effort to share information on campus on election day was disrupted," Carney said in a statement. "UW-Eau Claire strongly supports every person’s right to free speech and free expression, and the university remains committed to ensuring that campus is a place where a wide variety of opinions and beliefs can be shared and celebrated."

“Teachers and books are the springs from which flow the waters of knowledge.” --

--Inscription on the mall fountain at the University of Wisconsin/Madison.

Some may think this Eau Claire Professor a poisoned spring, others may think he dispensed precious knowledge.  I think when an English teacher cannot find words and resorts to actions they have indicted their ability to teach.

More left wing political violence. Democrats normalized it starting 10 years ago.

I might argue your timeline by referencing the Weather Underground and the Black Panthers.  There are others, as well.

I don’t think they normalized that to the extent it is now.

I don't know.  i do remember several campus bombings.  This one sticks out to me but there were others around the country.

I mention this one as the thread started out Wisconsin-centric.

The prof is in for a lengthy unpaid suspension.

Other than the school leadership agreeing with what he did, why wouldn't he be shlt-canned? How can you justify having an employee who is that freaking unstable? Especially in the role of being a an example for impressionable kids?.

Yeah I wouldn't object actually, but they have procedures and hearings for that stuff. Usually they get suspended then a board review.

Violence is a feature of the Democrat Party and liberals in general, it's not an exception.

The US has a problem with leftist and far-leftist violence.  It's just about an epidemic now.  Hopefully the FBI gets it's act together and go after these extreme groups and people with a vengenance.

Tenure

Tenure doesn't matter if you start destroying things. Dude is mentally ill. It's proven he can't exist peacefully in a normal society..

I was merely positing one answer to the question posed.  As for me I do not believe in tenure as it causes more problems than it has ever addressed, at least in my mind.
